The Subaru Solterra is the all-electric Subaru, with dual-motor all-wheel drive, an EPA-estimated range of up to 288 miles, and 8.3 inches of ground clearance. Juneau's road system is compact and much of our electricity comes from hydropower, which makes the Solterra a natural fit here.

Features and availability shown are for the 2026 Subaru Solterra and may vary. Range is an EPA estimate; actual range varies with temperature, terrain, driving habits, and battery age.
Most Juneau driving is short trips: downtown, the Valley, Douglas, and out the road. The drive from downtown to Echo Cove at the end of Glacier Highway is roughly 40 miles, so the Solterra's EPA-estimated range of up to 288 miles leaves plenty in reserve, even when cold weather cuts into it.
Dual-motor all-wheel drive, X-MODE with Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes, and 8.3 inches of ground clearance give the Solterra real footing on wet, slushy roads. Much of Juneau's electricity comes from hydropower, and most owners charge at home overnight.
Our Juneau Subaru team can walk you through the four trims, home charging basics, current incentives, and financing options.
